This 1.5-hour on-demand webinar is for teachers and school leaders. The webinar aims to build participants’ understanding of how to make referrals to speech pathologists and to the Language Development Centres (LDCs; for students K-1). Participants will be stepped through the LDC referral and placement offer process and will be given an introduction to language disorder red flags.
 

Aims

Participants will:
  • Gain awareness of the various pathways through which students can access speech pathology services
  • Understand the Language Development Centre referral process
  • Gain an understanding of language disorder 'red flags'
